A fine pair of George II brass candlesticks.
A fine and large pair George II brass candlesticks of a type that are usually described as "silver type" and are highly desirable.
Dating to about 1745, they have square shell pattern bases and their original loose nozzles although one is not easy to remove and I have not tried to force it.
They stand 10 inches high.
