A Pair of Delft Kashmiri Lamps.

A fine pair of mid 19th century Dutch Delft vases painted in the Kashmiri palette. Of octagonal form, the decoration features stylised flowers in panels painted with colours which are soft, yet vibrant. Iron red blossoms are set in a field of cobalt blue, and outlined in a beautiful soft, mossy green, highlightedd by the white tin glaze background. Now mounted as lamps with hand gilded bases.
Height of vases: 16 in (38.5 cm) including gilt bases but excluding electrical fitments and lampshades.
All of our lamps can be wired for use worldwide. A selection of card, linen or silk lampshades can be supplied on request.
