Pair of Chinese famille verte tea caddies, Kangxi (1662-1722), of rectangular cross-section, painted with fine enamels, one of the longer sides of each caddy decorated with a girl strolling in a fenced garden in a rocky landscape, the opposing side similarly decorated with a boy, presumably her lover; the corners with large stylised flowerheads, the sides and top edges with floral sprays.
