Pair of Chinese blue and white saucer dishes, Kangxi (1622-1722), with bracketed rims, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with two ladies wearing long-sleeved robes admiring a jardinière containing blossoming peony in a rocky walled garden with leafy plantain and clouds overhead; the reverse painted with two rocky islets and the bases with apocryphal Chenghua marks within concentric circles.
