A pair of fine percussion pistols by Nixon of Newark. The ebonised stocks profusely inlaid with silver pique foliage and with a Lions mask butt cap, trigger guard and engraved escutcheon. The two stage browned barrels also engraved with the makers name and Birmingham proof marks. Now housed in an ebonised fitted case with blue lining.

David Nixon worked in Newark from 1829 to 1864.
