A pair of 18th century South Staffordshire, probably Bilston, enamel candlesticks with domed and lobed bases, knopped stems and scalloped drip-pans, decorated with brightly coloured flower sprays and royal blue reserves with raised gilt flowers.
Height: 17cm. (6 11/16in.)
Condition: restoration to the enamels.
A similar candlestick can be found in the collection of the National Trust at Blickling Hall, Norfolk (NT 355079)
