A remarkable and rare oversize Heriz carpet woven in the late 19th century with stunning colours we associate with this era of weaving.
Undoubtedly commissioned around 1870-1880 this oversize antique carpet is in beautiful condition with a good pile throughout its 7 metre by just over 4 metre size! The design is also extremely rare being a stunning all over pattern of wonderful flowers and scrolling cloud band designs and leaves.
