BADA Gift List - Under £1000A charming Old Sheffield Plate butter shell of a type made from around 1770 and into the early 19th century, this example being an early and finely made specimen; the folded edge, necessary at this time to hide from sight the copper sandwiched between the silver, has been worked to virtual invisibility.
