Early Qianlong (1735-1790).
The side panels decorated with jardinières containing flowers. The canted corners with chrysanthemums against a black ground.
A saucer with the same pattern can be found in the Fitzwilliam Museum Collection, Cambridge, museum no. C.687-1991. A similar cup from the Samuel Putnam Avery Snr. (1822-1904) Collection was accessioned into the Metropolitan Museum of Art Collection in 1879.
