A wonderful Nineteenth Century games compendium by S. Woodward, Buchanan St., Glasgow. Presented in an amboyna and ebony box the compendium includes a board with chess, backgammon and Racing game pieces. Other games include Bezique, dominoes and cribbage. The compendium also has a large number of Victorian playing cards, 6 dice and two shakers and other bits and pieces. The compendium has survived in remarkably complete condition.
