Miniature Portuguese rosewood centre table.
Well figured rectangular top with moulded border over a frieze of raised carved applied mouldings, incorporating a drawer to the front. Stands upon elaborately carved legs of barley-sugar form, as are the stretchers, with pierced brass mounts.
Portuguese, the style, circa 1650 - 1700, this example of later date, probably circa 1800.
