A mid-Victorian walnut bureau plat, the lobed, hinged shaped top lifting to reveal two compartments raised on legs.
Decorated with a central panel of burr walnut quarter veneers within an unusual border of scrolls and lattice work in kingwood and satinwood, applied with a broad ormolu rim, a classical mask, scrolls and foliate mounts and sabots.
