Royal fire bucket.
19th century red ground leather fire bucket. Retaining the original leather handle. The body is riveted throughout and is painted with the Royal Coat of Arms. English circa 1840
The total height including the handle is 38cm. The height of the bucket is 25cm. The diameter of the base is 16.5cm The top diameter is 24cm
The whole has been used and warn, the red paint has been refreshed in places.
Articles such as this one, which is red ground are highly collectable, I have seen people use them as smart waste paper bin or even plant pot for interesting plants!
