AN EXCELLENT CHIPPENDALE PERIOD MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST. GEORGE III CIRCA 1765.
A good quality chest, nicely proportioned with a moulded serpentine top above four graduated drawers. Canted corners to the front with attracive detail acanthus leaf carving.
Over a serpentine body and raised on splay feet. Original gilded Greek Key pattern round handles. The whole is of a good colour.
