Directors Notes
Marzo was established in 1901 by Lorenzo Marzo and over the years enjoyed great success, they became well known in the 20s & 30s for their strong Art Deco designs and beautiful craftmanship. Indeed in 1925 they exhibited at L’Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris where they won a Grand Prix for their designs. When Lorenzo passed his son Rafael took over and it was when the firm was under his direction this bracelet was made. This bracelet has the maker's mark for Georges Lenfant, whose unparalleled craftmanship meant they made jewellery for many of the most important maisons in Paris during this period.
