A Mahogany Serpentine Sofa.
England, circa 1860.
A fine 19th century mahogany double serpentine neo-classical sofa in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. The sofa with upholstered back, seat, and sides. The mahogany show-frame finely carved throughout, the fluted tapering front legs terminating in spade feet.
