Of round shape with a shallow bowl, painted in shades of blue, the central cavetto with a large blossoming tree, issuing from the ground, with butterflies buzzing amongst its branches, a bird is perched on a low branch, another in full flight on the right hand side and a third dramatically diving from the top of the roundel towards a central butterfly, on each side of the tree, thin reeds grow on small heaps, and yet another bird waits, perched on the ground, radiating from the central cavetto, six panels each painted with large flower sprays of two flower-heads of a different type, including chrysanthemum and peony, also on each panel two birds, one sitting on a jutting rock, the other flying above, the base glazed.
