A Lovely Late 18th Century Childs Dug-Out Armchair. Circa 1780-1830.

This very appealing chair has a stunning colour and patination. Hewn from the trunk of a tree, with inset seat. An almost identical larger version is illustrated in Victor Chinnery, Oak Furniture. Pg74. Fig 2:42.
