A Large and Impressive Louis XVI Style Carved Giltwood and Gesso Mirror.

At over 100 inches tall (260 cm) this impressive mirror is of large size and finely carved with a figural cresting rail centred by a vase issuing flowers flanked by recumbent sphinx.
The shaped mirror plate if framed by borders of 'C' - scroll and acanthus running pattern with fronded acanthus to the base of the uprights.
