Of circular form, decorated in underglaze blue with on the central cavetto a large pot decorated in various patterns, with protruding roots, and filled with budding and blossoming peony and chrysanthemum, small insects buzzing around, the scene enclosed within a border decorated with alternate key-pattern, fish scale pattern and flowered diamond-work, divided by ju-i heads, the wide rim with eight large panels decorated with auspicious objects like double gourds and large fans alternated with peaches, pomegranates and flowers, a bird sits amidst large blooms on one panel, each shaped panel separated by narrow bands decorated with coins or mirrors between key-pattern , the back with a further eight stylised panels divided by narrow bands.
