Dial
The break arch brass dial with subsidiary regulation dial calibrated 0-60 and strike/silent dial to the arch either side of the silvered nameplate, signed John Pyke, London. The silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, finely matted centre with calendar aperture and false pendulum aperture with original blued steel hands.
Case
The rich colour mahogany case with three brass bound raised pads to the break arch with brass carrying handle, brass framed front door with fluted brass corners and brass ogee feet.
Movement
High quality eight day double fusee movement with five pillars and an engraved backplate. The verge escapement with pendulum suspended from a pivoted regulation arm. Striking the hours on a bell.
