A beautiful antique Cabochon Sapphire And Diamond Bracelet by J.E. Caldwell & Co. circa 1920s, the articulated bracelet formed of eight oval cabochon sapphires in gold bezel settings positioned vertically and interspersed with uniform openwork stylised figure of eight motifs in platinum backed with gold and set throughout with old cut diamonds, to a concealed tongue and box clasp. This lovely bracelet has a delicate feminine feel to it and the rich blue sapphires in their yellow gold surrounds provide a striking foil to the whiteness of the diamond and platinum links. Because of the mixed metals in the bracelet, it would work well worn with other bracelets or even a watch of either yellow or white metal. A pretty and elegant jewel from a time gone by.
