An impressive Victorian golden-oak tub armchair in the Gothic Revival manner; the bold curved and upholstered back rail mounted on an open work arcade of cusped Gothic arches with scrolled front supports. The deep stuff-over seat with splayed rear legs and octagonal columnar front legs; with conforming bases and capitols. Circa 1850.
*the pale leather upholstery is perhaps about twenty years old and is in very sound condition although it would benefit from a more sympathetic cover.
Price includes re-upholstery and re-covering in a fabric at the customer’s choice and cost.
