An early 19th Century Swiss gold musical seal containing an automated erotic scene. Oval musical movement. Situated above the movement a polychrome scene of a couple who spring to life when the music plays.
Centrally wound by the top ring through the free-standing superstructure of gold representations of serpents. Decorated oval band, hinged seal which conceals the scene left plain. Lateral slide to control musical train.
