Hallmarked London: 1895

A late 19th Century English minute repeater by Frodsham in a gold full hunter case.  Gilt half plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, diamond endstone, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring.

English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones.  Slide minute repeating on two polished steel gongs. Signed and numbered off white enamel dial manufactured by Willis.  

Subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain 18 carat full hunter case, gold cuvette and recessed gold slide.  Maker’s mark “HMF” in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.  

Accompanied by a certificate from Charles Frodsham & Co.
