An early 20th Century American lever with secometer dial in a gold filled open face case. Damascened nickelled split three quarter plate keyless 17 jewel movement with going barrel.
Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white metal dial with gilt Arabic numerals, blue steel hands.
The seconds indicated in an arc at six o'clock by a rotating silvered disc marked in Arabic numerals. Gold filled open face case with chased middle, plain back marked "Waltham Wadsworth Quality - 14 carat gold filled".
