Rare example of a Mahogany Pembroke Table by the eminent company of Gillows ( Lancaster ) ENGLAND Circa 1825.
Of smaller than usual dimensions wilh the added feature of a fitted central drawer enclosing various compartments for mainly writing implements .
Of note :- Is the excellent state of originality typical of a company using the best quality Mahogany timbers . Gillows had access to the best timbers due to the quantity of his custom - over lesser established cabinet makers .
