George III mahogany small chest of drawers of the Chippendale period.

Circa 1780.

Re-polished some 40 years ago and now faded.

This well constructed usefully narrow chest of five graduated drawers has original plain drop handles and locks. Details of the construction relate to the work of the Dumfries Cabinetmaker.

Height 3 feet 6” (107cm) Width 1 foot 10 ½” (57cm) Depth 1 foot 7” (48cm).
