George III marquetry commode.
A fine George III, 18th century rosewood and marquetry serpentine fronted and concave sided two door commode or side cabinet, raised on short cabriole legs.
The crossbanded rosewood top frames a panel of marquetry which is finely inlaid musical instruments and a large spray pf flowers knotted by an elegant bow.
The whole is understated in the design in the manner of Ince & Mayhew.
