An early George III period mahogany bureau bookcase. The drawer fronts and fall butt finely veneered, the fall opens to reveal a well fitted interior. The glazed top section has a superb broken arch pediment with dog tooth mouldings and a finely carved coat of arms in a cartouche. The well cast brass handles are all original. Good colour and patination through out. Circa 1770
