A Fine & Rare Yew Wood Kneehole Desk George II, Circa 1740.
Unusual to find, the whole veneered in yew wood, with crossbanding and double stringing throughout. The moulded top over a single shallow drawer, over a kneehole recess, with a central shaped shallow drawer and a cupboard, flanked by three graduated drawers. Raised on a moulded plinth base and six shaped bracket feet. Retaining all original handles. Of a fine colour and patination.
