A Fine Pair of Neoclassical Painted Satinwood Console Tables.
Of demilune outline, veneered with satinwood and decorated with polychrome paintwork; each table supported on four square tapering legs adorned with painted bellflowers and anthemia; the frieze centred by a painted oval cartouche and surrounded by scrolling foliage; each shaped top with a radiating fan at the centre; and floral garlands interspersed with ribbon-tied medallions within an outer painted reserve of grisaille painted scenes.
