Fine late George III period mahogany bow-fronted chest of drawers by and stamped Gillows of Lancaster; the fronts of the four drawers with finely matched and coloured flare veneers, on splayed legs and with a reeded edge to the top. The drawers partly lined with, probably original, blue paper and with old, but later, brass ring-handles. Circa 1815
