A fine quality late 18th century mahogany free standing library desk, the flame mahogany cupboards with ebony fluting to the sides of the kneehole, are fitted with drawers. The veneered top is cross banded and strung in boxwood. The other side has two cupboards also flanked with ebony fluting, which are fitted with shelves and two drawers below the top.
The quality of this desk is superb with stringing throughout and it has a lovely colour and patination.
