This primitive naive oil of a young girl was most likely acquired in Argentina in the 1970's.
The costume and chair would suggest it was painted in the early 19th century.
Housed in a moulded gilt and gesso frame. Provenance: Formerly - David Hughes Collection, Buenos Aires.
