This very rare Spoon is beautifully modelled as an Anemone and the silver gilt bowl is modelled to simulate the flower head.
The stem is modelled and textured to simulate the foliate stem. This example is in excellent condition and is fully marked in the bowl.
The design hardly ever appears on the market and a similar example, of the same date, is shown on Plate 57, figure b of "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie.
