An early 18th Century French quarter repeating verge in a silver consular case. Deep full plate fire gilt movement with slender Egyptian pillars. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates.

Silver pierced and engraved bridge cock and decoration on the top plate. Plain three arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator.

Push pendant quarter repeating by a single large hammer on a block in the case. Winding through the white enamel dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, pierced and engraved gold hands.

Purpose made early 18th Century plain silver consular case, silver  push pendant and a pulse button at 11 o'clock.
