Early George III period mahogany side-chair, the back with a carved serpentine cresting rail and an interlaced ribbon pattern splat, all decorated with well carved acanthus scrolled work and paterae; the seat frame with a gadrooned front rail with bold cabriole legs with claw and ball feet; the drop-in seat covered in needlework.
