Early George III period mahogany side-chair; the back with a serpentine cresting-rail and an elaborate interlaced ribbon pattern splat, all decorated with carved acanthus scrollwork; the seat-frame with a gadrooned front-rail and bold cabriole legs with claw-and-ball feet.
The drop-in seat reupholstered and covered in rose brocade.
