An early 19th century marble-topped pedestal table*; the circular white marble top inlaid with a band of sixteen panels of specimen hardstones surrounding a central feature of an exotic bird standing on a classical vase. The rosewood stand with a lobed baluster shaft on a circular dished platform with four carved leafy feet. Circa 1830.
* The style of the stand shows similarities to published designs of W. Smee & Sons.
