An early 18th century oak bureau with two short and two long drawers, a moulded edge around the top and the fall; it also has a book ledge. The drawers are oak-lined with later but old engraved handles and escutcheons. The interior fitted with drawers, pigeon-holes and a central cupboard, a sliding tray to a well below. Lovely size, colour and patination. Circa 1730
