Early 18th century Chinese Famille Rose Garniture.
An extremely fine three vase Garniture, Yongzheng period (1722-1735).
Comprising of one baluster jar and cover and a pair of beaker vases.
Each vase is richly enamelled in characteristic bright palette Depicting a flowering peony tree and a fruiting pomegranate growing beside garden rockwork.
Originally the property of a family in the east of Holland This unusual shape of vase and beaker, which is angled above the foot, derives from a Japanese Imari form of the seventeenth century.
This type only seems to appear in fine Chinese Export porcelain during the Yongzheng reign period (1722-1735).
