Chinese near pair of small blue and white plates, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated to the central roundels with a lady sitting upon rockwork underneath a flowering tree watching a small boy playing, the rim with four cartouches containing flowering fruits against a trellis ground, the reverse with four beribboned precious objects (babao) and four-character marks within concentric circles.
