Chinese Imari plate, Qianlong (1736-1795), decorated with flowering boughs of red and pink peony issuing from rockwork in a fenced garden, the cavetto with four floral cartouches on a band of red diaper, the rim with foliate sprays of peony with seedpods and other small flowers.
