A Chinese famille verte goblet, Kangxi (1662-1722), after a 17th century glass original, of tapering form rising from a spreading domed foot with knopped stem, decorated in overglaze enamels with floral boughs of chrysanthemum, camellia and prunus, the latter also with a perching bird, the knop decorated with small flower heads and the foot with floral sprays and a band of zigzag pattern in iron red.
