Of baluster form with "C" shaped handle and sparrow-beak spout, the body decorated with incised leaf patterns between two bands of stylized flowerheads in underglaze blue, decorated with European overglaze enamels, probably Dutch; below the spout, a large bird, its feathers, eye and yellow beak finely delineated in shades of iron red, brown and black detailing, the bird perched on gnarled branches from which spring a profusion of flowering plants and fruits and leaves, the spout and handle further decorated with sprays of flowering plants, the base with a band of flowering sprays.
