Chinese Canton enamel tray, Qianlong (1736-95), of square form with chamfered corners, decorated with a European couple and baby upon a carpet beside a wine barrel, in a garden setting amongst rockwork and plantain, all within a narrow red band and with foliate scroll against a pale turquoise ground to the rim, the reverse similarly decorated with dense blue foliate scroll, a single red band and central square mark to the base.
