Decorated to the centre with a scene of two robed scholars with fans meeting beside a lake with a young attendant carrying a lantern, a willow overhead, rockwork in the foreground and pagoda in the distance.
The cavetto with four cartouches containing beribboned scholarly objects against a diaper ground.
The rim with a scrolling garland of peony, chrysanthemum and lily.
