Chinese blue and white plate, Kangxi (1662-1722), of moulded form with waved rim, the central roundel containing a landscape scene of a scholar at a lakeside, with a pagoda, mountains and distant birds flying in formation visible in the background, the wide rim with 12 alternating panels containing floral sprays and further lakeside scenes with a pine and low hut, the reverse with three floral spreays and central flowerhead within concentric circles.
