Late Kangxi (1662-1722).
With foliate rim, decorated to the central roundel with a scene of two lovers meeting beside a lake in the moonlight underneath a willow tree while attendants look on with a horse.
The cavetto with ten ogee-shaped panels containing flowering peony heads and insects against alternate scale and diamond cell backgrounds.
The reverse with three leafy tendrils and an open lozenge mark, within two concentric circles to the base.
